• Helen Schreadly Snyder (deceased) made the following note at the bottom of the page that the Family Bible was transcribed on:

• A copy of these inscriptions was given to Phoebe Ann Jane (Carvell) Bolton by J. Edgar Carvell, son of Cyrus, who had the Bible in his possession. J. Edgar Carvell lived in Williamsport, Penna., and died in 1955 or 1956. His widow presumably went to Baltimore to live with a daughter. A search has been made of the Baltimore City and County Directories for Mrs. Kathryn or Mrs. J. Edgar Carvell, but there was no listing for her. Therefore, the possibility of procuring a photostatic copy of the inscriptions is extremely remote.
