Biography
Sampson was born in Florida in 1854. His parents were Vincent Jones Carver and Susan Hall. In 1860, the family was living in Columbia County, Florida.[1]
He married a woman named Margaret Foster. They were both mentioned in the death record of their son, Joseph, in 1934.[2]
