Mary Coon Casad was born April 15, 1797 at Rockville, Sussex County, N.J. After her mother’s marriage she went to live at Joel Crowell’s. She married Abram Bodle in the state of New York. He was of Irish descent, a lawyer and a fair scholar. Her brother Isaac Finch Casad took her share of the estate and purchased a farm near Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, and deeded it in such a manner that she could not sell it. After her husband’s death she built a pleasant and comfortable home. She lived a devoted and Christian life and was a member of the Christian Church. Her first home was located about twenty miles from Greenville and her last home was about four miles east of Greenville. She died in 1861 and is buried on an eminence on the north side of the turn pike road leading from Greenville to Richmond, Ohio, near her husband and their son Abram Boodle(?) Jr., a daughter Lydia Ann Boodle(?) and near the grave of Abigail Tingley Casad Wintermoot.

1055. v. Lydia Amor Bodle, born 1835; married John Diehl.

1056. vi. Abraham Bodle Jr., born 1840, died 1844.
