Sarah Elizabeth Casey was born about June 28, 1844 in Amherst, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Jeremiah Casey (~1816–~1885) and Abigail Unknown (~1820–>1844).
Elizabeth (24) married Thomas Coates Wood (35) (born about January 1, 1833 in River Hébert, Cumberland; son of John Wood and Elizabeth (Ripley) Wood) in November, 1868 in Maccan, Cumberland. Their known children were:
Elizabeth died on August 30, 1915 in Maccan, Cumberland, aged about 71. She was buried in Maccan Presbyterian Cemetery, Maccan, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.[1]
