Biography

Mac Castleberry was born 14 August 1872 in Hopkins County, Kentucky, United States. He was the son of James Castleberry and Elizabeth Potts. In 1880, he lived with his father and siblings in Kitchen, Hopkins, Kentucky.^[1] In 1900, he lived with his brother-in-law Frank Rea, sister Jessie Rea and niece Ivy in Charleston, Hopkins, Kentucky.^[2] The 1920 census shows him living in Burley, Cassia, Idaho.^[3]

Mac Castleberry, age 66, died 22 October 1938 in Burley, Cassia, Idaho. He was employed as a clerk in a pool hall and lived at the Palace Hotel. He was buried on 26 October 1938 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley.^[4][5]
