• Prior to her marriage to Electious Reynolds, Charity Caswell had about 1726 an illegitimate child by Oliver Richmond of Taunton, MA who was born there 1697. He was ordered by the court to pay child support.

• Joseph REYNOLDS- Birth (abt 1744); Death (aft 12 Jan 1846): There is a statement of 12 Jan 1846 regarding his pension application in which he said he made a mistake about residence in Roxbury, that he lived in Rochester, Massachusetts and his father was Electicious Reynolds. It appears he was living with son Sylvanus in Rossi, NY at the time of his death./ Joseph, like several of his brothers, was apparently a Revolutionary War Veteran. His Rev. War pension file indicates he was born Rochester, MA, moved to Rupert, VT before 1810, then moved to NYS, finally settling in DeKalb, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Pension records mention son Sylvanus who made affidavit. Other children are not listed in the pension application. He may possibly had a first wife before marrying Bathsheba Randall based on the conflicting ages of his son Sylvanus. Joseph Reynolds sold land in Freetown to Dudley Hathaway in 1796. The deed was witnessed by apparent brother Michael Reynolds. In 1840 he appears to be in Hermon, St. Lawrence, NY with 1 male aged 80-90, 1 female aged 70-80,, 1 female aged 30 to 40 and one female aged 15-20. His place and date of death are unknown, but perhaps he was living with son Sylvanus in DeKalb.
• Michael REYNOLDS- Birth (abt 1744); Death (28 Feb 1828); There is no proof that Michael is the child of Electious Reynolds, Jr., though it is generally accepted and likely that he is.
• Eunice REYNOLDS- There again is is no proof that Eunice is a child of Electious Reynolds, Jr. bit it it generally accepted that she was. She may have been a child of his second marriage to Catherine, rather than a daughter of Charity. She and Joseph are probably brother and sister, their marriage intentions to Nehemiah and Bathsheba, also brother and sister, were filed the same day in Middleboro, MA."^[2]
