Biography

Catherine "Kate" Cavanaugh was born on March 11, 1853, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, daughter of Richard Cavanaugh and his wife Ellen,^[1] both of whom were born in Ireland. She married Moncare Taylor Figgatt on July 26, 1875, in Cook, Illinois and they had seven children.

Kate's date of death is unknown; however it was after 1905 when she is listed with her husband and two of their children in the 1905 United States Census for New York.^[3]
