Biography
Andrew Cavitt was born in 1797. [1]He was the son of Richard Andrew and Margaret Cavitt.[2]
Andrew married his second cousin, Ann Cavitt on 8 April 1821 in Madison County, Alabama.[3]
Andrew Cavitt heard his brother "Moses....talking about Texas and going to Texas and it sparked their [Andrew & Ann's] interest. By the Fall of 1834, they were making their journey as a family in Robertson's Colony to Texas. They weren't in Texas long when Andrew died of a fever" [4] on 1 July 1835.[1]
