Biography
Arthur was the son of Lawrence Cayley and Arabella Nokes. He was said to be age 30 at the time of his marriage, pointing to a birth date of about 1876.[1]
On 19 June 1906 Arthur married Agnes Long, age 36, daughter of Michael Long and Catharine Braniff, at Collingwood, Simcoe, Ontario, Canada.[1]
The 1911 Canada census records Arthur at Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, born November 1876, occupation dry goods merchant. Wife Agnes, born March 1871 in Ontario. Children: Arthur Gerard, 2, born Ontario; Thomas Joseph, born March 1911 in Ontario.[2]
