Ebenezer and Hannah kept a farm in Ashford. In 1830, Ebenezer headed a household of five persons in Ashford: one male 30 to 39, one female 30 to 39, one female 60 to 69 (who was perhaps Ebenezer’s mother Judith), one male under 5, and one female 5 to 9.[6] In 1870, Hannah and Ebenezer were living in Ashford with their daughter Maryette Lyon and granddaughter Jennie Lyon aged 19 years (who was Maryette’s adopted daughter) living with them. Real estate was valued at $2,000.[7]
Ebenezer did not leave a will and his estate was administered by Philo Chaffee. The estate was valued at $2,558.72.[8]
Hannah and Ebenezer were parents of two children born at Ashford.
