Biography
When Levisa "Vicy" CHAFFIN was born in 1795 in Montgomery, Virginia, her father, John, was 18, and her mother, Rebecca, was 13. She married Joseph AKERS on June 8, 1815, in her hometown. They had six children in 17 years. She died in 1838 in Montgomery, Virginia, at the age of 43.
