Lucille was born about 1904. [1]


Homer and Lucille were 27 and 26 years old when the 1930 federal census for the 3rd ward of Lafayette, Louisiana on 4/3/1930. Their children are: Son Dallas age 3, daughter Goldie age 3 and son Homer, Jr was 8 months old. [2]

The 1940 federal census in the 3rd ward of Lafayette Louisiana was conducted on 4/28/1940. Homer and Lucille live in the same home and have added to their family with a daughter, Shirley (age 7). Dallas is now 13, Goldie is 12 and Homer, Jr is 10. [3]
