Bill Chaisson was born in 1931 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jack Chaisson and Lucille Rouselle. [1][2][3] He ws an extremely gifted pianist, having studied under Edwine M. Behre, making his debut at Carnegie Hall 12 Mar 1953. He was both a performer and a teacher with over 5000 students under his tutelage over the years teaching both privately and at Rice University, Dominican College and Galveston College. He passed away in 2011 in Harris County, Texas at the age of 80. [4]
