Jane Chalker was born on September 10, 1738 in Saybrook, Connecticut Colony, daughter of Abraham Chalker (1699–1783) and Jemima Grinnell (1704–1762).

Jane (25) married Joseph Buell (25) (born on September 1, 1738 in Somers, Tolland, Connecticut Colony; son of Joseph Buell and Anna Submit (Colton) Buell) on November 29, 1763 in Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut.[1] Their children were:

Jane died on July 9, 1810 in Newport, Sullivan, New Hampshire, United States, aged 71.
