Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1872. She is the daughter of Henry Chamberlain and Susan Bale.
I cannot find a birth record but Elizabeth was born two years before her parents were married.
In the 1881 census Elizabeth is aged 9 and living with her parents at: Fosbury, Crediton, Devon.
In the 1891 Census and now called "Lizzie" she is age 19 and living with her parents and six siblings at: 20 Laing St, Eston, Grangetown, Middlesbrough. No occupation is listed and her place of birth is shown as Crediton.
