Matilda Chambers Bunn, 85, of Dayton, died Wednesday, April 22, 2002, at Pinnacle Retirement Center. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, a charter member of Cranmore Cove Baptist Church and was a retired cafeteria manager for Dayton City School. After retirement she worked for the Senior Citizens for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Bunn and parents, John and Rosa Fugate Chambers. Survivors include a daughter, Sara Rose Tyler, son, Ray Bunn, grandson, Chris Bunn and a great grandson, Trevor Bunn, all of Dayton. Services were conducted Friday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garriosn Funeral Home with the Rev. David Haynes and the Rev. Albert Levengood officiating. Burial was in the Buttram Cemetery.
