Julia A. Chandler, 17, and Willard A. Lovell, merchant, 22, both of Alstead, New Hampshire, married there on 8 Apr 1862.[3] Willard Lovell drowned at Walpole, New Hampshire, on 26 Jul 1872.[2][4] Willard and Julia (Chandler() Lovell had one son, Henry W. Lovell, whose gravestone says that he died on 14 Jul 1869 at the age of 2 years, 6 months.[5] There were no other known children; Willard's probate file says that he was survived only by his widow and by two (unnamed) brothers.[6]
Julia Ann (Chandler) Lovell, 33, of Alstead, New Hampshire, married Frederick Augustus Weir, farmer, 26, of Walpole, New Hampshire, at Keene, New Hampshire, on 4 Nov 1878. It was the groom's first marriage and the bride's second.[7]
Death
Julia A. Weir, widow, of Walpole, New Hampshire, died from cardio-renal disease at South Hadley, Massachusetts, on 6 Nov 1922, with her age at her death recorded as 77 years, 11 months, 22 days.[8] Her gravestone at the Drewsville Cemetery in the village of Drewsville in Walpole says that she died on 6 Nov 1922 at the age of 77 years, 11 months.[9]
