He passed away on 14 Nov 1939 (aged 17) in Allison, Wheeler County, Texas, USA and was buried in Highland Cemetery, Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA.[2]

Frank Andrew Chandler, aged 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Chandler, Utica, died at Allison, Texas, Tuesday. The body was brought here for funeral services. Services were held at the Gus Pool & Son Funeral Home Thursday afternoon. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
The deceased is survived by his parents, four brothers, Davis Chandler, Allison, Texas; D.C., Kenneth and Jackie Chandler, Durant; one sister Miss Violet Chandler, Durant.

Highway Church News: On November 14, 1939, death stole into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chandler at Allison, Texas, and took away a loving 17 year old son. Besides his parents, four brothers and one sister and other relatives, he leaves a host of friends to mourn his going. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Gus Pool Funeral Home with Rev. White in Charge. His body was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery. F.A. was well known in this community and loved by all who knew him.
