Wilbur H. Chappelear, age 65, of 2155 Stelzer Rd., Tuesday, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Employed as a dry cleaner Swan Dry Cleaners and former owner of Washington Dry Cleaners for many years. Preceded in death by son, Wayne. Survived by wife, Betty; daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Ron Meade, Mary and Bruce Boyer, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Robert, Brenda, and Barbara Chappelear, Pomeroy, Oh.; sister Mrs. Helen Thomas, mother-in-law, Vianna Alsup, both of Columbus. Funeral service Friday 11 a.m. SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Friday, New Holland.
