Biography

Mary Frederica Chapple was born on January 12, 1871, in the heart of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. She was the cherished daughter of James and Jennie (Reed) Chapple. As a child, she grew up in the same city, forming deep roots in her community.

On September 7, 1892, Mary took a significant step in her life, marrying Frederick William Allsopp in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Together, they built a life in Little Rock, where they resided consistently for decades.

Through the turn of the century, Mary's home remained in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. In 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, and 1940, census records indicate her unwavering presence in the city she called home throughout her life.

Sadly, on June 26, 1949, Mary Frederica Chapple Allsopp bid farewell to the world she had known and loved. She passed away in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. In keeping with her ties to the city, she was laid to rest at Mount Holly Cemetery, a testament to her enduring connection to Little Rock and the life she had lived there.
