Biography
Rees was born about 1713. He married twice, and was a tenant at Longmoor and Pantdwfn farms in the parish of Llanfihangel Abercywyn, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Two of his sons by the second marriage became quite well known: Thomas Charles and David Charles. Rees died in 1787 and was buried on 5th May at Llangynnwr, Carmarthenshire.[1]
