Biography
The following announcement of Emily's marriage appeared in The Illustrated London News dated 8 June 1861 [1]
- On the 9th of April, at the Island of St Helena, by the Lord Bishop of St Helena, assisted by the Rev. G Bennett, James Magnus Gideon, esq., to Emily St. Love, daughter of the late Deputy-Assistant Commissary-General Joseph Charlier
Emily died in Bournemouth in 1931, aged 97 [2] [3]
