Note: At least one document or resource has her middle name as Adellia (with two "L's"). Is it "Amelia" as reported by Alice Olin King, who was named after her, or "Adellia," as reported above? This discrepancy has not yet been resolved.

The 1900 Census does not show a middle name. A letter dated 11Mar2016 from DignityMemorial.com shows Alice "ADELLIA" Olin was buried in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD, Section F, Row I,, Site#28, on 19June1940.This is an unmarked grave. A visit to the Cemetery on 25May2020 with a representative of Dignity Memorial located the lot that matched that number but more research into the historical files is necessary. • 1940 Census. Alice A. Chase Olin, aged 88, born in New York in 1852, was living in the household of her son, Wilber S. (nmn) Olin, aged 55, born in Wisconsin in 1885 and his wife, Mildred Ida Quick Olin, aged 54, born in Michigan in 1884, and their two children, Wilber C. (nmn) Olin, aged 19, born in Michigan in 1921 and Alice Ida Olin, aged16, born in Michigan (reportedly in 1924 which was incorrect as she was born on 21 May 1923). The error seems to have been a miscalculation. The information was collected on 01Apr1940 and enumerated on 22Apr1940. She turned 17 one month later.
