Biography

Eleanor, known as Ellen, was born in 1848.

She married Edward Mellish in about 1869. They had two children, William Thomas and Mary Ann Elizabeth, before migrating to New Zealand on the Golden Sea, where the rest of their children were born.

The family settled in Featherston, Wairarapa.

Edward passed away in 1921.

Ellen passed away in 1931.
