Biography
Edward was born about 1595. He is the son of Philip Cheevers and Eleanor Rosseter.
Eleanor, third sister of John Rosseter, was married to Philip Cheevers of Killyan [Killiane], and from her sprung Edward Cheevers, Viscount Mount Leinster, who was married to Lady Ann Sarsfield, youngest sister of Patrick Sarsfield, Earl of Lucan. [1]
1689: Edward Cheevers, created Viscount Mount Leinster in 1689, was a member of this family.[2]
