Biography

Isaiah Cheney, the son of Charles Cheney and Ann Jones was born about 1711. Isaiah was mentioned on a memorial in All Hallows Church Cemetery, Birdsville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States with a death date of 1768.^[1]

On 15 Nov 1830 Isiah (Isaiah) Chaney (Cheney) married Sarah in Pittsylvania, Virginia. ^[2]

There seems to be a discrepancy between first wife Sarah's death date from Find a Grave and the date of Isaiah's second marriage. There is not a photo of a tombstone and the source of Sarah's death date is unknown. Perhaps the youngest child is Rachel's? (VanAllen-9 15:04, 27 September 2022 (UTC))
