John Hamilton Chew, was 35 and his mother, Priscilla Elizabeth Claggett, was 28. He married Eliza M. Fitzhugh on 25 October 1832, in Chase, Baltimore, Maryland, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 25 December 1863, in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States, at the age of 56, and was buried in Green Mount Cemetery, Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
