Biography
Susanna was baptised on 6 Jan 1822 at Bourn, Cambridgeshire, the daughter of Joseph Chew and Susannah Triplow, plumber and glazier.[1]
She married John Triplow on 9 Dec 1844 at Grantchester, Cambridgeshire.[2]
She died at Sutton, Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire and was buried at Bourn on 11 Jul 1847 age 25.[3]
Seven years after her death her parents, and all of their living children and their spouses and their grandchildren plus her husband and his second wife and her children, emigrated to South Australia in 1854 on the “Lord of the Isles”, leaving Southampton on 30 Aug 1854, arriving at Port Adelaide on 2 Dec 1854. Passenger list - John Triplow 38 Plumber Glazier Sutton Cambridge; Martha Triplow 44; Joseph Triplow 9; Susannah Triplow 7. Single women: Hannah Sutton 17 servant Cambridge; Charlotte Sutton servant 15 Cambridge[4]
