Biography
Margaret Arbuthnot married second, 9 July 1603, ALEXANDER CHEYNE of Essilmont, brother of ISOBEL CHEYNE who married JOHN BRUCE and of MARJORIE CHEYNE who married JAMES JOHNSTON. They were the children of WILLIAM CHEYNE of Arnage, son of JOHN CHEYNE of Fortee, nephew of Sir PATRICK CHEYNE of Essilmont.
Alexander was born about 1585.
