Biography

Osborne Chidgey was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Osborne Hickey Chidgey was born in Balmain, New South Wales during 1856. He was the son of George Chidgey & Margaret Catron.[1]

Osborne Chidgey married Mary Abram in Balmain during 1879.[2]

In 1896 Osbourne was elected as an Aldermen for the Borough of Balmain, North Ward.[3][4] He stood again in 1899 but was not relected.[5]

Osborne died at a private hospital in Petersham, New South Wales on 27 June 1918. He had been living at Birchgrove Road, Balmain.[6][7][8]
