Biography
Cephas was born about 1690. He is the son of Henry Child and Ann Ball. He was married on 12 February 1716 to Mary Atkinson[1], and they had 9 children. His father Henry Child Sr. had given his lands in Pennsylvania to Cephas the previous year.
