Biography
Malinda Ellen Childers was born on September 28, 1872, in Cabell, West Virginia, her father, Abraham, was 46, and her mother, Virginia, was 39. She married Marion Francis Adkins on April 4, 1890, in her hometown. They had 12 children in 19 years. She died on February 9, 1950, in Huntington, West Virginia, at the age of 77.
