Christen-392 and Christen-73 appear to represent the same person because: Albright Christen was the father of my ancestor, Maude Nicky Christen. He was the son of Johann and Elizabeth (Schaad) Christen. They immigrated from Switzerland on the Bark Heather Bell and settled in Adams County, Indiana in 1850 when he was 9 (according to the shipping manifest). Albright was a builder by trade. A cousin sent me pictures of a house still standing in Decatur that was built by him. He died from an overdose of Laudanum which he was taking for pain caused by cancer of the eye according to the newspaper of the day.

Christen family was roughly the 3rd generation from Switzerland to Ohio/Indiana which in my line started after the eruption of Tambora caused the year with no summer followed by cholera epidemic. Jacob Shaerer emigrated 1819 to Ohio and then bought land in Root, Decatur, Indiana. Over the next decades successful Swiss folk in US returned to Canton Bern and facilitated successive waves of emigration from Switzerland to Ohio/Indiana.
