The News-Review, Roseburg, Oregon, 1 July 1997 Dolores Marie (Logan) Hissong HISSONG, Dolores Marie (Logan) – Age 70 of Glendale, Oregon passed away Friday, June 27, 1997 in a Roseburg care home. She was born October 1, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska to Frank H. and Adeline M. (Sorensen) Christensen. In 1946 in Reno, Nevada, she married Clarence A. Logan who preceded her in death in 1968. In 1967 the Logan's moved from San Francisco, California to Sunnyvalley, Oregon. They owned and operated a radio parts store in Sunnyvalley until 1970. In 1970 in Carson City, Nevada, she married Robert R. Hissong who preceded her in death in 1991. She moved from Sunnyvalley, Oregon to Glendale, Oregon in 1970. Mrs. Hissong enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, music and most of all her family. Her sweetness will be missed. She was a member of the Glendale Friends of the Library and attended the Olivet Presbyterian Church in Glendale. Survivors include her sons, Daniel R. Logan and his wife Maria of Eldorado, California; Chris A. Logan and his wife Maria of Days Creek, Oregon and Allen R. Logan and his wife Joreen of Ogden, Utah; daughter, Candace A. Hissong and her husband Bob of Glendale, Oregon; brothers, Harold R. Christensen and Allen L. Christensen both of San Mateo, California; 11 grandchildren, Bob Hissong, DeAnne Hissong, Daniel Logan, Sean Logan, James Logan, Christopher Logan, A. J. Logan, Debbie Brown, Randy Hissong, Vickie Hissong, and Kim Munyon and several great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 3, 1997 at 2 p.m. at the Olivet Presbyterian Church in Glendale, Oregon. Reverend Susan Carleton will officiate. At the family's request, contributions may be made in Mrs. Hissong's memory to the Olivet Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 238 Pacific Avenue, Glendale, OR 97442, for the purchase of Hymnals or the Glendale Friends of the Library, c/o Glendale Library, P.O. Box 680, Glendale, Oregon 97442. Private cremation rites have been held. WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in charge of arrangements.
