Biography
Gabriel Christie was a British Army officer and a seigneur in Chambly, Lower Canada (Quebec).
Baptised 16 September 1722, he was the son of James William Christie, a merchant, and Catherine Napier.[1]
He married Sarah Stevenson; they had a son, Napier, and two daughters, Catherine and Sarah. He had three sons with his mistress, Rachel Plenderleath: Gabriel, George and William.[2]
