Biography

Isaac Binford Christy was born December 15, 1856 in Browning, Linn County, Missouri. His parents were Philip Weaver Christy & Nancy Lewis Keeney Day. In 1853, three years before his birth, his parents had moved to Missouri from Kentucky in a wagon pulled by an ox team.

In 1860 and 1870, Isaac Binford Christy was working on his family farm and attending school.

In June, 1880, Isaac Binford Christy was working on his father's farm and teaching school.

Isaac Binford Christy married Nellie Torrey Bradstreet in 1881. She was the daughter of J.H. Bradstreet & Martha Bowman Bradstreet.

In June, 1900, Isaac Binford Christy & Nellie Torrey Bradstreet were living in Pleasant Hill, Sullivan County, Missouri, raising stock. They had 3 children:
