Biography
John Cissell was born around 1660 [1] in St. Mary's County, Maryland to an English Catholic immigrant, John Cissell, and his wife Mary.
The father died in 1698, leaving son John 50 acres of White Acre.[2]
John died intestate in 1722. No wife or children were name in the settlement of his estate. Next of kin was Thomas Cissell, his brother.[3]
