Biography

Henry Clarke was born around in 1842 in Upper Canada, son of John J. Clarke and Sarah A. Masters. In 1852, age 9, he was with his parents in Ameliasburgh Township, Prince Edward County. He married (Sarah) Jane Masters. In 1881 they lived in Hillier Township (probably in Wellington), Prince Edward County, Ontario. By 1889 they lived in Trenton, Hastings County. He was a carpenter and then in 1891 a fisherman. Apparently he died before the 1901 census.
