The marriage of Frederick Henry Traves, second son of Mr W. Traves. " Altonville.' Lockwood, New South Wales, and Mary Low Clark, eldest daughter of Henry J. Clark " Burnside,"Avenel, was celebrated in St. Paul's Church of England, Avenel on 10th September. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a white hand-worked silk dress, wore the customary wreath and veil and carried a bouque of white heath and asparagus.The first bridesmaid, Miss L. Clark (sister of bride) wore white embroidered voile and carried a bouquet of red carnations, Whilst the two little bridesmaids,Misses L. and K. Clark (sisters of bride),wore creme voile and carried baskets of red carnations. Mr Alan Clark (brother of bride) acted as best man. The church was tastefully decorated with white lilies by the young friends of the bride.
