Donald was born to Ruth Clark on 15 January 1925. His mother, Ruth, had filed for divorce from Alton A. Clark in St. Joseph County, Indiana on 9 June 1924. Judgment was awarded on 26 September 1924. (Ruth would have been pregnant with Donald at the time she filed for divorce.) [1]
Donald's mother Ruth married Chester W. Bradley in St. Joseph County, Indiana on 5 June 1926.[2]

ELKHART -- Donald R. Bradley, 83, of Elkhart, died at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 28, 2008) in Golden Living Center.
He was born Jan. 15, 1925, in South Bend to Chester W. and Ruth Bradley. On July 20, 1947, he married Marjorie Ann Moyer in South Bend. She died Oct. 3, 1969. He married Patricia L. Keim on June 19, 1992, in Elkhart. She died March 25, 2003.
Mr. Bradley is survived by one daughter, Linda Brown of South Bend; two stepdaughters, Melonie (David) Mohr and Rita (David) Peat, both of Elkhart; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Branstorf; and one brother, Harold Bradley.
Mr. Bradley retired as a supervisor at Barger Packaging Corp. in 1989. He was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge 599 and DAV Chapter 19 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 395, both of Elkhart.
There will be no visitation or services. A private family graveside service will be at a later date at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is assisting with arrangements.[3]
