Biography

Sarah? was born to Nicholas and ______ Clarke in Hartford in, say, 1644. (Perhaps she was named Sarah, the name she and Andrew gave to their first child, just as their first son was named Andrew. But no evidence supports that speculation.) Miss Clark married Andrew Lester, son of Andrew of New London, in perhaps 1664.^[1]

Andrew Clark and his first wife Sarah? had, in New London: Children:

• Andrew Lester, bpt 23 Aug 1674.^[3][2] , married Lydia Bailey, daughter of Thomas, about 1695 in New London,^[4]
