Biography
Phyllis Alvine Clarke was born on 6 March 1895, at Murrurundi, New South Wales.[1] She was the daughter of Albion James Clarke (1853-1897) and Jane Whyburne (1860-1956).
Phyllis married Ernest Bertram Horne (1894-1967) on 25 June 1919, at Singleton, New South Wales.[2] They had one son:
- Mervyn Horne (1920-2002)
She passed away on 25 August 1969, at Singleton, New South Wales.[3] Phyllis is buried at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, New South Wales.[4]

HORNE, Phyllis Alvien - August 25, 1969, at Singleton District Hospital, late of 63 George Street, Gosford, dearly loved wife of the late Ernest Bertram Horne and loved mother of Mervyn of Hurstville, aged 74 years. Cremated Beresfield August 27, 1969.[5]
