***Note From Daughter of HT Clary*** It has been bought to my attention that my father's obit in the Richmond paper has his place of death as his home in Gasburg/Brunswick Co. VA. There may be other places that have the same information. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE PLACE OF DEATH. I was by his side holding his hand in the McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond VA at the time of his death.

Harold Tuckett Clary was born on August 19 1935 in Ankum Virginia. Maynie and Estelle were farmers like so many around them. HT grew up a little rowdy like most all those country boys did back then, but never got into big trouble just the usual boy stuff. Fights with his brother Sterling, who was 5 years his junior, were pretty much an every day thing. Tuckett went to the school house right down the road and then to high school in Lawrenceville VA. Riding the bus for HS was a new experience and is where he met this pretty little girl named Ann. They quit school a little early and got "hitched" on March 2, 1955. He went to work as an auto mechanic in Clarkesville VA where he stayed until he received that faithful letter from the US Army and off to Fort Bliss in El Paso TX he went for 2 years. After returning to Ankum VA he and Ann moved into the family farm house until the spring of 1962 when their own home was finished, right down from the farmhouse. Ann and Tuckett stayed together until Aug 1995 when Ann passed away. They had 2 lovely girls, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren at the time of this writting.
