Just wanted to pass on the information in this Power of Attorney I ran across. It is in Book 155, Page 101, Essex County, MA. Deed Records, dated Aug 21, 1792, recorded Sep. 24, 1792. Robert Cleaves, Ebenezer Cleaves, Elizabeth Cleaves all of Pepperellborough, York Co. and Robert Cleaves on behalf of Harrison Cleaves of Harpswell, Cumberland Co. and Samuel Bradbury and Abigail, his wife of Biddeford, York Co. are appointing John Cleaves of Pepperellborough, Innholder, as their attorney in fact to sell all their property in Manchester, Beverly, Salem, Wenham and Ipswich. I did not research but the Robert, Ebenezer and John may be sons of Cleaves-4. I'm sure there are other land records that would help to illuminate the Cleaves family.
