Biography

Adah B Cliffton was born on 1 Aug 1892 in Brady Township, Williams County, Ohio, United States of America. She was the daughter of Samuel Leland Cliffton and Mary Emma Pifer.^[1] Her father died in 1896, when Adah was about four years old. In 1900, her family was living in Brady Township.^[2]

Adah married Guy Todd McLaughlin on 16 Aug 1910.^[3] They had several children and lived in Ovid Township, Branch County, Michigan for most of their married life.^[4][5] Guy and Adah divorced in 1940.^[6]

Adah married Frank H. Linton about 1940. In 1944, Frank founded the Linton-Jackson Aluminum Foundry. He died in 1959.^[7]

Adah died on 18 Mar 1979 in the Alamo Nursing Home in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.^[8] She was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Homer, Calhoun County, Michigan.^[9]
