John Clift, the son of Joseph Clift and Ann Lawrence was born 4 Sep 1831 [1] at Great Leighs, Essex, England [2] and was baptized 18 Sep 1831 at Little Waltham in Essex. [1]
He married Maria Wells, daughter of John Wells 21 Jun 1850 at Halstead in Essex. [3]
He died in Dec 1900 in Essex. [4]
