Biography

David Olivier Cloutier was born on 10 Jun 1838 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Joseph parish in Deschambault, Portneuf, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Joseph Cloutier, farmer, and Henriette St-Amand. Sponsors at Olivier's baptism were Isaie Perron and Julie St-Amand; Isaie Perron signed the register.

At age 27, Olivier, a farmer, married Marcelline Naud on 21 Nov 1864 in Saint-Alban parish in Portneuf, Canada East. There were eight known children born into this marriage.

Olivier died at age 64 on 20 Nov 1902 in Sainte-Thècle parish in Champlain, Québec, Canada; he was buried four days later on 24 Nov in Sainte-Thècle parish cemetery.
