Biography

Delthia, daughter of Justice Alexander Clowes and Julia Emmeline Stairs, was born on 2 April 1885 in Waterville, Wakefield, York, New Brunswick.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

In the 1901 census Deltha (age 14) was the daughter of Justus Clowes in York, New Brunswick.[9]

Delthia's son Delmar Roy Dunham was born on 4 March 1910 in Waterville, Wakefield, York, New Brunswick.[10][11]

Deltha married Wilfrid B Dunham on 27 March 1918 in Woodstock, New Brunswick.[12][13]

Wilfred adopted Delthia's son, Delmar, then together they had three more children:

  1. Curtis Linwood Dunham[14]
  2. Harold Ernest Dunham[15]
  3. Muriel Marie Dunham[16]

Delthia died in 1975 and was buried in Woodstock, Carleton County, New Brunswick.[17]
