Biography

Winifred (Coates) Ibbotson lived in Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand.

Winifred Elizabeth Coates was born on 18 February 1907 in Timaru, Canterbury to Percival George Coates and Elizabeth Gibson^[1].

She married the boy next door^[2] Harry Kellett on 28 September 1927 in Timaru, Canterbury^[3][4] .

In 1928 they were living in 61 Cain Street, Timaru, Canterbury ^[5].

In 1935 they were living in 8 Trafalgar Street, Timaru, Canterbury^[5].

In 1938 they were living in Parsonage Road, Waimate^[6].

Around 20 January 1942 they were living in Belt street, Waimate ^[7]

1945 saw the birth of Susan Kellett as their first child. In 1946 they were living at Tarewa Road, Rotorua^[8]. 1947 saw her son David Kellett born ^[9] in Tauranga.

In 1949 They lived in Salisbury Avenue, Mt Maunganui ^[10].

In 1954 they were living in MacDiarmid Street, Tauranga^[10] before moving to 20, 21st Avenue, Tauranga by 1957^[10]. By 1963 they were liste98uy7 ^[10].

Wyn later moved to Auckland where she married Leslie Ibbotson, A retired builder but in 1973 she was again widowed. Wyn remained in Auckland until her death on 8 May 1990 in Auckland^[11]. Her ashes were scattered over the grave of Harry Kellett.
