Biography

In the 1841 England Census James Hutchinson 50 born abt 1791, was head of his household in Belsty Mill, Alston and Garrigill, Cumberland, England. Other Household Members, none of whom were born in Cumberland, were his wife Isabella Hutchenson 55, and their children William Hutchenson 20 cartman, and Thomas Hutchenson 15 lead miner. [1]

In the 1851 England Census James Hutchinson 61 born abt 1790 in Allendale, Northumberland, England, miller, was head of his household in Garrigill, Cumberland. Other Household Members were his wife Isabella Hutchinson 68 born Allendale, his sister in law Elizabeth Coats 75 born Allendale, annuitant, and their granddaughter Mary Keenleyside 11 born Allendale.
